About Infertility Specialist Debbra A. Keegan, M.D.

Dr. Debbra Keegan, a native New Yorker, joined IVF FLORIDA Reproductive Associates in August 2007 after completion of her subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the highly regarded NYU Fertility Center of the New York University School of Medicine.

Dr. Keegan received her medical degree from NYU and completed her Internship and Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bellevue Hospital / NYU Medical Centers.  While there, she served in many integral roles such as Class President, Administrative Chief Resident, Clinical Instructor, and Research Associate.   Dr. Keegan is currently serving as Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Florida International University’s College of Medicine.

Education

Dr. Keegan completed her undergraduate work at Cornell University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development.  She then earned a Master of Science in Biology from the NYU Graduate School of Arts and Science where she studied the effects of maternal nutrition on pregnancy.

Dr. Keegan received her medical degree from the NYU School of Medicine.  She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bellevue Hospital / NYU Medical Centers.  In 2007, she completed her subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the NYU Fertility Center of the NYU School of Medicine.

Area of Expertise

Dr. Keegan is experienced in the areas of in vitro fertilization, diminished ovarian reserve and fertility preservation.  She is also interested in pregnancy outcomes after ART treatment.  She has authored peer-reviewed papers on pregnancy outcomes after IVF and donor egg cycles. Dr. Keegan is currently leading the effort to develop IVF FLORIDA’s center for fertility preservation with a key focus on options for women and men with cancer.
