Meet Our Team of Infertility Specialists
Successful diagnosis and treatment of fertility problems often relies on a good deal of complex and advanced technology. However, at IVF Florida Reproductive Associates, we recognize that the most important aspect of our ability to care for our patients is the dedication and skill of the people who work here. At our Southeast Florida centers, our infertility specialists and supportive team members provide you with the highest standard of care and customer satisfaction.
Our Physicians
At IVF Florida Reproductive Associates, we have seven skilled reproductive endocrinologists/infertility specialists to diagnose and find solutions for all types of fertility problems. Wayne S. Maxson, M.D., our founding physician, has been working in the field for well over two decades. David I Hoffman, M.D., also a highly experienced reproductive endocrinologist, joined Doctor Maxson in 1989. Steven J. Ory, M.D., is particularly active in a number of professional societies and academic organizations. Marcelo J. Barrionuevo, M.D., studied medicine in Argentina before completing his fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. He joined IVF FLORIDA in 1998. Vanessa N. Weitzman, M.D., completed her fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Connecticut and joined us in October of 2008. In February 2009, Gene F. Manko, M.D., a highly successful fertility specialist in Palm Beach County joined our prestigious panel of physicians. And our newest addition Daniel R. Christie, M.D., joined IVF FLORIDA Reproductive Associates in March 2010 after completing his fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Alabama.
Our Team
In addition to our experienced infertility specialists, there are also more than 80 other team members at IVF Florida Reproductive Associates, including nurses, ultrasound and radiology technicians, embryologists, laboratory technicians, and office staff.
